One of a kind... Dr Wing Hsieh

I met Dr Wing 20 years ago, when he broke the cycle of chronic injury which almost ended my career as a musician. This book codifies his knowledge and experience as a specialist in the treatment of soft tissue injuries. His reputation precedes him amongst the community of professional musicians here in Los Angeles, and for good reason.
This book, while it offers a thorough and somewhat technical protocol for professional therapists and healers, also gives the lay person an intuition and technique for gently treating themselves. Whether it be a simple crick in the neck, a case of tennis elbow, or an ongoing and elusive functional limitation, there is an empowering message here accompanied by concrete and useful information.
Dr Wing's unique and effective practice gracefully bridges the gap between the 'mechanical' and the 'subtle'. Working not only with the functional and structural aspects of the human anatomy, but also an understanding of the dynamic and complex connective tissues.
I whole-heartedly recommend this book for anyone studying in the fields of medicine, massage therapy, physical therapy or acupuncture. Everyone should learn this technique.

A True Master !!

We, as acupuncturists, have all heard of Dr. Yung Hui Hsieh in the medical community, the mystique, the mastery, the famous legend who has had a thriving practice in Beverly Hills for over 30 years. It wasn’t until middle of this year, when I had the luxury to observe Dr. Hsieh personally at work for four months, did I realize that I am watching a living legend performing the craft of healing soft tissue injuries at the HIGHEST level. Watching Dr. Hsieh at work, I felt as if I was a deep sea diver, going deep into the ocean and explore and discover every layer of the ocean floor. His hands are literally a MRI machine, perhaps even better than a machine, with his hands, he’s able to collect information, perform exclusion diagnosis, differential diagnosis, and TARGET diagnosis, which is at the heart of his treatment principles, find the injury site, and treat the injured site, with his technique that has been developed over 40 years. I have personally witnessed patients who have not been able to walk or even get up from a chair without excruciating pain, get healed from Dr. Hsieh within couple of months of treatments and resume their activities of daily living.
The book is an invitation to study and understand the human anatomy, and for the groundbreaking treatment methods for soft tissue injury, which includes muscle, tendon and ligaments, to drop down through the layers and depths at every level, to find the relationship and continuity between each and every muscle, tendon, ligaments and fascia that lies within our body, exploring the frontiers of inner space within the human body.
I believe this book is a must-read for anyone with the ambition and intention to heal soft tissue injuries, acupuncturist, chiropractors, physical therapist, massage therapist, personal trainer, and yoga instructor are just some of the professions that I believe this book will help your practice immensely.
The book has completely reshaped my thinking process, approach, and confidence to treating soft tissue injuries. It has helped my practice to grow tremendously, but the true beneficiary of this method is the patients, where they have sought answers everywhere else to their pain but to no avail. I must say they have found the answers with Yung-Hui Practice, and THAT is the TRUE testaments of this book.
