She's lived in various cities in different parts of the country, but wherever she's gone, books have been the bridge to new friends. She and her husband now live in Pennsylvania. One faithful employee, a ruthless bank president, a dead body, a spoiled privileged son, and an unauthorized transfer of funds are the basis for this story.
Preston Barrons, President of Riverview's bank may not have a good relationship with his son, but he's using everything he can to clear his son's name when money appears in his kid's account. And he wants Jennie Connors to do the legwork, but at 2AM? Jennie thinks it's an odd time, but her paycheck depends on it despite her better judgment. Little did she know she'd stumble across a dead body? Now, she must unravel the truth one tiny step at a time.
A suspenseful tale that's strongly plotted and well written. Sprinkled with a strong cast of interesting characters and red herrings. I'm usually pretty good about figuring out whodunit, but not this time. And you won't guess either until the very surprising conclusion. My hat is off to Sandra for a job well done!

Jenny Connors is a great character

I love her character coming across as loyal, dedicated, loving, curious and just a normal working person. She is a mother of two young boys and an ex-husband who interact careful for the sake of the boys. The stories have that present day flavor and you can just pictured Jenny as your neighbor next door. Her position at Riverview Manor a retirement community and nursing home leads to numerous adventures into murder and hayhem for the activity director. I have enjoy reading two of her books an look forward to reading more.

Intriguing Mystery

This is nicely written, well-plotted mystery will keep you guessing and turning pages right to the very end. After building up a baffling puzzle for our beleaguered heroine Jenny, the story takes a few thrilling twists and turns on its way to a logical, even inevitable conclusion.
