An encouraging look at losing weight

I heard about this book from a friend and just finished reading The Eat What You Want Diet by Gary Charles Metz. The title sounded good to me! It's a short book, a quick read. I somewhat identify with the author, being overweight but having no major health problems.
This is the "diet" I've always wondered about: one satisfying meal per day and nutritional snacks to see you through the rest of the day. A couple of times I have even BEGUN this diet but quit after 1 or 2 days, before my stomach shrunk and being impatient with the scale that hadn't moved. Because of this book I know the diet will really work - you just need to persevere. I am encouraged enough to try it again - I love how simple it is to follow.
This common sense method for losing weight was enjoyable to read and made sense. The walking component seemed too easy but now that it's part of my daily routine my energy level has gone up, another plus.
The author's personal experience style of writing made the book interesting and enjoyable.

Losing weight can be as easy as walking

This was an inexpensive book with a title that fascinated me. It was a quick read and inspired me to start walking more for my health. I would recommend this to someone who is interested in reading one person's account as to how he managed to lose weight easily.
